Mrs. Ollie Young, age 72, a former resident of Noble and for the past several months a resident of Burgin Nursing Manor, passed away last night at the Manor No. 1.
Arrangements are being completed at the Summers Funeral Home.
Mrs. Young was a native of Oklahoma and was born at Cushing, the daughter of Edwin Harley Walker and Delia Ann Henderson Walker. She was married to Jacob Lee Young and he preceded her in death in 19S8.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Noble.
She is survived by five children, Mrs. Wanda Taylor of Olney, Billie Rex Young of Ft. Collins, Colo., Mrs. William (Connie) Hosselton of Clay City, Mrs. Jim (Karen) Miller of Noble and Mrs. Alfred (Patricia) Gallion of Channahon. There are 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters, Marion Walker of Shidler, Okla., Tim Walker of Pawnee, Edward Walker of Oklahoma, Mrs. Alta Dean of Stillwater, Okla., Mrs. Ethel Fitzpatrick of Thermopolis, Wyo., and Mrs. Anita Curl of Bramam, Okla.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Alton Dale Young, brothers and sister.
