Pioneer of County Claimed by Death
Earl Osborn, 78, retired PG&E worker and former custodian at the Red bluff high school, died suddenly this morning at the Red Bluff Moulding mill, where he was gathering scrap lumber according to a report at the sheriff's office
Osborn, who was stricken shortly before 10'clock was pronounced dead before an ambulance, which had been called, arrived. Death was believed due to a heart attack.
The body is at Fickert's where funeral services are pending.
Osborn had been a lifelong resident of Tehama county and was one of 13 children born to Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan Osborn, pioneer settlers at Paskenta.
Osborn is survived by his widow, Helen, a daughter, Roberta Reynolds, a son, Daniel; and two grandsons, all living in Red Bluff. - Transcribed by E.
