Helen E. Osborn
Helen Elva Osborn, 88, of Red Bluff died Monday at a hospital here.
A native of Alameda, Mrs. Osborn was born June 22, 1896, a daughter of William H. and Rachel L. Porter. Orphaned at an early age, she and her brothers and sisters were raised by relatives in Tehama County. In 1930 she married Earl D. Osborn, the son of an early day pioneer family. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors are one son, Dan Osborn of Red Bluff, a brother Frank Porter of Redding; and three grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Oak Hill Cemetery with Pastor Larry Love of the First Christian Church officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church, 926 Madison St. Red Bluff, 96080.
