IDAHO NEWS.
A frightful accident happened to a freight train near McCammon, on the Oregon Short Line, last week, in which the engine and seventeen coal cars were ditched and D. M. Hill, engineer, Tom Leonard, fireman, and Charles Walter, head brakeman, were instantly killed. The accident was caused by cattle on the track. It was in the night and the train was moving down grade at a considerable speed. The victims were all young married men whose families reside in Pocatello and Montpelier.
