Funeral services for Mrs. Nona Alexander Brantley, 91, of Winnfield, were held at 11a.m. Friday in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home here with the Rev. Calvin Phelps officiating.

Burial was in Gilgal Cemetery at Minden for Mrs. Brantley who died on Wednesday, August 18, 1976 at 11:55 p.m. in a local hospital after a lengthy illness.

Surviovors include one daughter, Mrs. Ruie B. Nugent of Winnfield; two sisters, Mrs. S.W. Gandy of Bossier City and Mrs. R.F. Bishop of Minden; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Paulbearers were Glen Richards, Bud Roberts, Harper Terrill, Fletcher Melton, Ed Grigg, and Lester Walker.
