Margaret Christensen, 93
Margaret Christensen, 93, of Blair, died Friday, Nov. 15, at Carter House in Blair.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery.
Margaret Christensen was born March 17, 1909, to Herman and Anna (Kuhr) Rahlfs in rural Washington County. She attended Lincoln and Rose Hill Schools and was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church at Orum.
She married Harold E. Christensen on Feb. 1, 1930. A homemaker and a mother, she and her husband farmed north of Orum for most of their married life.
She is survived by her daughter, Gloria Jensen of Fremont, daughter and son-in-law, Bonny and Carl Nielsen of Woodland Park, Colo., and sister, Evalena Love of Sacramento, Calif; seven grandchildren and their spouses; four sisters-in-law; Ella Rahlfs, Harriet Palle, Louella Christensen, and Lola Rahlfs; 17 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; brothers, Roy Rahlfs and LaVerne Rahlfs, and son-in-law, Richard E. Jensen.
Memorials are suggested to the Blair Hospice, First Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
