Harold E. Christensen, 82
Funeral services for Harold E. Christensen, age 82, of rural Blair will be held 2 p.m. Friday, August 18, at First Lutheran Church with Rev. David Nelson officiating. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.
Harold died in Memorial Hospital of Dodge County on Tuesday, August 15, 1989.
Harold E. Christensen was born on May 18, 1907 in Copenhagen, Denmark to Hans Edward and Karen Magretha Hansen Christensen. He came to the United States on December 5, 1918 and settled in the Blair area.
He attended the Cumming City, Rose Hill and the Blair High School. In 1930, he married Margaret Rahlfs, in Blair, Nebraska.
Harold farmed in the Rose Hill area all his life. He retired from farming in 1964.
Harold is survived by his wife, Margaret; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Gloria) Jensen, Fremont, Nebraska; and Mrs. Carl (Bonny) Nielsen, Wichita, Kansas; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Morris (Harriet) Betts Palle of Blair; and one brother, Tage Christensen of Blair.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents and by one sister, Venda Jahnel.
Campbell Funeral Home is in Charge of arrangements for the services.
