Garnett B. Lineberry
Funeral services for Garnett B. Lineberry, 48, who passed away at his home in the He­bron section of Carroll County, RFD 4, Galax, were held at Hebron Christian Church Tuesday at 1:00 p.m.
The services were conduct­ed by the Rev. W. Isom Melton and the Rev. Lonnie P. Shaw. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Lineberry was born in Carroll County May 14, 1913, a son of the late Wilburn Lineberry and wife, Mrs. Nora Alderman Lineberry.
The body remained at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home until noon Tuesday, when it was removed to the church.
Mr. Lineberry is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Irene McCraw and Mrs. Wilmer Lou Payne, both of Galax one son, James Lineberry, Win­ston-Salem, N. C.; four brothers, Leman Lineberry, Bluefield, W. Va.; Rennie Lineberry, Pierre, S. D. and Kemper Lineberry and John C. Lineberry, both of Baltimore, Md.; and two sisters, Mrs. Graham Frost and Mrs. Glenn Edwards, both of Woodlawn.
