From Holland St. John - "Baby Benjamin was the infant son of Joseph and Caroline (Freeman) Bradshaw and was born July 28, 1850 on the family farm located near the hamlet of Volga City, Sperry Township, Clayton County, Iowa. He died of convulsions at the age of two month on September 18, 1850. He little body was buried at the Garretson Cemetery, Clayton County, Iowa. His father Joseph and two of his siblings are also buried at this cemetery: Elmena (who was born December 2, 1853 and died August 31, 1855) and John Pleasant (who was born September 18, 1858 and died of inflammation of the brain in July of 1863)."
