From Holland St. John - "Lorena was the daughter of Joseph and Caroline (Freeman) Bradshaw and was born on the family farm located near the town of Volga City, Sperry Township, Clayton County, Iowa on November 3, 1865. She spent her childhood here with her eleven brothers and sisters. When she was fourteen years of age (1879), she married Oscar Warner. Very little is known about Oscar and his family. Their only child (Rose Ann), born about 1882, lived but four months. Lorena and Oscar lived in various parts of Iowa, finally going to Wilsonville, Nebraska, where they lived for twenty years. Lorena spent the last years of her life at Ankeny, Polk County, Iowa, which is located about eight miles north of the city of Des Moines. The exact date of her death had not been documented; however, Oscar died in the winter of 1931 or 1932 according to one source. A number of members of the Warner clan are buried in the Greenwood Cemetery located in Ackeny, and it is assumed both Lorena and Oscar are also interred here."
