Funeral services for Richard Clay Sexton, 66, of Paris, who died Thursday in Cincinnati were held at 2pm Sunday at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home at Paris, conducted by the Rev. E. T. Curry, pastor of the Paris Methodist Church.

Mr. Sexton, a retired farmer, died Thursday at the Jewish hospital in Cincinnati where he had been a patient since Saturday. He had been in declining health six or seven years.

A native of Pomeroyton, Ky., he was the son of William and Rebecca May Sexton, and was a member of Daugherty Lodge No. 65, F and AM, Carlisle, and of the Elks Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Frances Krebs Sexton, Paris; a daughter, Mrs. George Cayce, Baltimore, Md.; a brother, Bruce Sexton, Carlisle; Five sisters, Mrs. C. C. Fletcher, Deer Park, Ohio; Mrs. R. T. Lovelace and Mrs. Price Fraley, Middletown, Ohio; Mrs. R. C. Willoughby, Carlisle, and Mrs. Samuel Heizer, Sharpsburg, and one granddaughter.

Active pallbears were Clyde Sexton, Marvin Sexton, Robert Sexton, Clarence Ratliff, Leonard Ratliff, Earl Heizer, Vernie Heizer and Hobert Lovelace.

Honary pallbearers were Raymond Wilson, Dr. C. E. Wood, Herman Kearns, Raymond Bell, G. J. Withers, Clark Walls, Dr. Eugene Hyden, Dr. Herman Grubbs, Howard Tally, Z. T. Smith and F. J. Savage.

Burial was in the Carlisle Cemetery.
