Lindsey Bruce Sexton, 86, died at 2:10pm Tuesday at the Nicholas County Hospital after an illness of nine weeks. A native of Wolfe County, he was a retired grocer and farmer and a member of the Carlisle Church of which he was an elder.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Arrah Lee Sexton; two sons, Clyde and Marvin Sexton, both of Carlisle; a daughter, Mrs. R. L. Clinkenbeard, Walton; three sisters, Mrs. Sam Heizer, Mrs. R. S. Willoughtby, both of Nicholas County, and Mrs. R. T. Lovelace, Middletown, Ohio; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2: 30pm Thursday(today) at the Mathers-Shearer Chapel by the Rev. Lanis Kineman. Burial will be in Carlisle cemetery. The body is at the chapel. Active pallbearers: H. A. Palmer, Ennis Ockerman, Elmer Dampier, R. T. Brayfield, J. E. Anderson and A. K. Hostetler. Honorary pallbearers: W. S. Atkinson, George R.
