Lindsey Bruce Sexton, 86, died at 2:10pm Tuesday at the Nicholas County Hospital after an illness of nine weeks. A native of Wolfe County, he was a retired grocer and farmer and a member of the Carlisle Church of which he was an elder.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Arrah Lee Sexton; two sons, Clyde and Marvin Sexton, both of Carlisle; a daughter, Mrs. R. L. Clinkenbeard, Walton; three sisters, Mrs. Sam Heizer, Mrs. R. S. Willoughtby, both of Nicholas County, and Mrs. R. T. Lovelace, Middletown, Ohio; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2: 30pm Thursday(today) at the Mathers-Shearer Chapel by the Rev. Lanis Kineman. Burial will be in Carlisle cemetery. The body is at the chapel. Active pallbearers: H. A. Palmer, Ennis Ockerman, Elmer Dampier, R. T. Brayfield, J. E. Anderson and A. K. Hostetler. Honorary pallbearers: W. S. Atkinson, George R. Carter, Robert Feeback, Frank Lynam, Hamer Miller, E. E. Pfanstiel, R. W. Neal, B. J. Alexander, J. R. Anders, Ewell Clinkenbeard, Kash Grimes, F. C. Henry, Raymond Hall, H. T.
