Mrs. Lillie Lovelace, 81, or 2021 Highland St.. died at the home of a son, the Rev. Samuel S. Lovelace of Indianapolis, where she had been living the past seven weeks. She had been in failing health for 10 months,
Mrs. Lovelace was a resident of Middletown for 45 years, coming here from Menifee County, Ky. Her husband, Richard, died in 1945.
Surviving are three sons, Samuel of Indianapolis, William of Tempe, Ariz., and James of Owensboro, Ky.; two sisters, Mrs, Jenny Heizer and Mrs. Nannie Willoughby, both of Carlisle, Ky,; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 3pm Wednesday at the Joseph R. Baker Funeral Home, with the Rev. Charles Miller and the Rev. Frank Sowards officiating. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9pm.
