Mrs. C.T. Nicklas, 67, pioneer of Stephens and Palo Pinto Counties died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. D.P. Baker of Breckenridge. She had been in declining health for three months.

Services were held at the Cedar Creek Methodist Church.

Survived by her husband; eight children, all are well known in the Caddo and Brad communities. Four daughters - Mrs. Edith Stringer, MRs. Anne Carlyle of Pueblo, CO, Mrs. Frances Nash of Graford, Mrs. D.P. Baker of Breckenridge; four sons - jIm Nicklas of Fort Worth, John Nicklas of Graford, C.T. Nicklas, Jr. of Duncan, OK, Henry Nicklas of Fort Worth; 19 grandchildren; number of great-grandchildren.
