Avis Ann McMillian of Route 2, Farmington, was born March 10, 1906, in Bunker and died August 29, 1968, at the Madison Memorial Hospital at the age of 62 years.

She was the daughter of the late William Henry and Ada Jane Vest Reese.

Her husband, Arthur McMillian preceded her in death on June 5th of this year; she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Helen, in 1928.

Surviving is four children: Mrs. Ruby Bullock of Bonne Terre; Geneva (Mrs. Jesse O.) Crump of Knob Lick; June (Mrs. Arthur), Moyers of Flat River; and Herb McMillian of Route 2, Farmington; 13 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Denver Reese of Route 2, Farmington and William G. Reese of Esther; two sisters, Julia (Mrs. Tim) Dalton of Esther and Ina (Mrs. Melvin) Forsythe of Route 2, Farmington; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were conducted Sunday, September 1 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hurryville Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. James Barker officiating.

Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Caldwell Funeral Service.
