Billy served in the U.S. Army infantry during World War II, serving in a number of battles in Asian/Pacific theater of operations and receiving purple hearts for the Iwo Jima and Okinawa engagements. He Married Hazel Marie Milam in Reno, Nv in 1946. She died in 1995. He worked on numerous construction projects in California, Arizona and Nevada, including the San Luis Reservoir, Parker Damn in Arizona and the extension of runways at the San Francisco Airport. Surviving are one son, Charles of Columbus, Ohio, five daughters, Donna of Lovelock, Nevada, Judy of Lovelock, Nevada, Billie of Moss Landing, Ca., Marie of Lovelock, Nevada, and Nancy of Lovelock, NV., nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Son of Charles Avery Waddle & Willie Mae Waddle. Brother to Charles Wayne Waddle,Carl Leach Waddle Sr., Archie Rosco Waddle, Bertha Lee Icenogle, Sally Thrasher, Dorothy Martin, Mary Ann Elledge & Maggie Jackson.
