Bert Taswell Yeoman was born in Cedar Township on February 19, 1908 and died at the home of his parents north of Fremont on Thursday October 24, 1918. aged 10 years, 8 months and 5 days. He was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. O.N. Yeoman, pioneer residents of this township. Bert was of a kind, loving and gentle disposition and was the pet of the family. While suffering much and struggling to breath, he prayed that God would spare him that he might live to be a man. He will be much missed in the family circle and by his young associates. The body was interred last Thursday afternoon at three o'clock in the Cedar township cemetary. Short services were held at the grave, Rev. J.W Carson, pastor of the Fremont M.E. church being in charge. The funeral will be held at a later date.
