Ben Ami Armstrong, 69, died at his home near Lone Fountain Saturday at 9 a.m. He had been confined to his bed for two years. He was a member of Stonewall Camp 12737, Modern Woodmen of America. Born in Highland County, the son of William and Susan Botkin Armstrong, he is survived by his wife, Emily Leach Armstrong, four daughters; Mrs. J.E. Huff, Norfolk, Mrs. J.E. Hammer, Crimora, Mrs. Maude Swink, and Mrs. J.R. Hooton, at home; one son J. Porter Armstrong, Waynesboro; four brother; Morgan, Waynesboro; George, Highland County, Granville, Highland County and Van, Lexington, Ill: and two sisters: Mrs. Reese McCray, Headwaters, Va; and Mrs. Harrison Malcolm of McDowell.
