BATTLE CREEK -- Services for Ann L. Tiedgen, 84, Battle Creek, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. The Rev. Allen Martin will officiate with burial in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, 3-6 p.m., at Steffen Mortuary in Battle Creek. There will be a rosary at 7 p.m. at the church.

She died Sunday at Community Pride Care Center.

She was born Feb. 9, 1908, at St. Helena, the daughter of John and Minna (Elfring) Betz. She attended St. Mary's Catholic School at St. Helena.

She was married to Jack Tiedgen. They moved to Battle Creek in 1950 and owned and operated Jack's Bar for many years. She retired and sold the business in 1969.

Survivors include sisters, Winifred Nickles of Yankton, S.D., Mary Cheney of Watertown, S.D., and Emma Linsley of Reseda, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother and one sister.
