INMAN - Martha Friesen Ediger, 96, passed away Sept. 27, 2010, at Pleasant View Home, Inman. She was born March 18, 1914, in McPherson County, the daughter of the Rev. Isaac I. and Helena Thiessen Friesen.
She grew up on a farm near Inman. She attended Welcome Grade School and graduated from the Zoar Academy. Martha was a lifelong resident of Inman. She was a member of the Zoar Mennonite Brethren Church, Inman.
She married Pete F. Ediger on Aug. 18, 1935, in Inman. He passed away Nov. 4, 1998. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, John, Dave and Ike; and a sister, Mary Thiessen.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. with the family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010, at Buhler Mortuary, Buhler.
Memorial services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, at Pleasant View Home Chapel with Pastors Dwight Carter and Dan Dalke officiating. Private burial will be in Zoar Cemetery, Inman.
