Ike T. Friesen, 73, died Nov. 4, 1993 at Hutchinson Hospital, Hutchinson.

He was born Nov. 15, 1919, at Inman, the son of the Rev. Isaac and Helena Thiesen Friesen. A lifetime Inman resident. He owned and operated Ike's Food Market from 1955 to 1981. He was also a wheat farmer and currently a partner of the Inman Insurance Agency.

He was a member of Inman Lions Club, and the St. Peter's Church of Christ, Inman, having served on the church board.

On Aug 30, 1942, he married Cleta Blessing at Inman. She survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, Randall, Inman and Bradley, Goddard; a daughter, Joan Kornelson, Cheney, two brothers, John, Buhler, and Dave, Hesston; three sisters, Martha Ediger and Margaret Balzer, both of Inman, and Rose Siemens, Shafter, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Inman, with the Rev. Melvin D. Miller presiding. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Buhler Mortuary, Buhler. A private burial will preceede the memorial service.

Memorials may be sent to the church in care of the mortuary.
