Mrs. Christian was born in Cherokee County, May 10, 1909. She spent most of her life in Floyd County. Her husband, John Christian, died two years ago. She was a member of East Rome Church of God.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Annie Ruth Crowder of Rome, one son, Sgt. George Ray Christian of the U.S. Air Force; one sister, Mrs. Agnes Phillips of Felton; her mother, Mrs. Arlee Moon Beauford of Gadsden, AL.
Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Henderson-Fraizer Funeral Home with the Revs. Raleigh Jenkins and Marvin Mobbs officiating. Interment will be in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at other hours they will be at the residence.
