SCHOOL TRAFFIC POLICEMAN DIES.
Gray Bonham, 65, of 1120 Busby street, uncle of J. Tom Tanner, secretary-treasurer of the city of Shreveport, and a police school traffic officer, died at a local hospital at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. Mr. Bonham suffered a heart attack at his home two days ago which proved fatal.
Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. at Rose=Neath Funeral chapel. Interment will be in Greenwood cemetery.
Mr. Bonham was a lifelong resident of Shreveport, and had been a police school traffic officer for the past ten years at the Allendale School. Besides his nephew, he is survived by one daughter, Miss Lessie Mae Bonham of Colorado.
Pallbearers at the funeral will be Folsom Brown, Charles Stoer, Bob Nix, J. R. McKethan, W. R. Chadick and W. J. Knighton.
