GERMAN BAILEY
German Bailey, 54, of Route 2, North Judson, died at 7:15 p.m. Friday, January 9, at Starke Memorial Hospital following a three month illness. He was born in Carver, Kentucky June 13, 1915, living in this area 30 years coming from Rochester. He was married August 24, 1932 to Martha Bailey at Rensselaer. He was a mechanic at Rudd-Shepherd of Knox.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Fisher of Knox and Mrs. Paula Bope of North Judson; five sons, David of Lowell, Bill and Arthur of North Judson, Charles of DeMotte and James of Knox; four brothers, Virgil and Edgar of Knox, Forrest of Rochester and Earl of Francesville; three sisters, Mrs. Easter Howard of East Lake, Weir, Fla., Mrs. Ethel White of North Judson and Mrs. Elsie Hill of Plymouth and 20 grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the United Baptist Church at Toto. Burial was in Highland Cemetery at North Judson. The Harry Price Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
