Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Friday at the Schilling Funeral Home with Rev. Meredith Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Dodge Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Anderson was born June 6, 1886, near Altamont, a daughter of Jessie and Myra Gordon Barr. Her husband, Walter Anderson died in 1948.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Titus, Mattoon; a foster daughter, Mrs. Charles Sutherland, Mattoon; a foster son, Ray Anderson, Mattoon; three brothers, Asa Barr, Savanna; Noah Barr, Beecher City, and Harry Barr, Westervelt; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of the First Christian Church.

Even though not officially my Grandmother, Edna & Walter adopted my father (their nephew) at age 3 months old and was only Grandmother I knew as Dad's real mother, Nellie Ebling-Anderson died in a tornado that hit Mattoon in May 1917
