Paul E. Anuta, 74, of LaPlata, Maryland, died Friday, September 17, 2010, at Washington Hospital Center, Washington, D.C. He was born December 26, 1935 in Menominee, Michigan to the late Edward R. and Geraldine Shriner Anuta. He married Diana Darling August 24, 1969 in LaPorte, Indiana.
He is survived by his wife, Dr. Diana Darling, two sons, Adam Anuta-Darling (wife: Kristen), and Austin Anuta-Darling , one sister, Judith Anuta McFadden, two brothers, David A. Anuta (wife: Peggy) and Phillip M. Anuta and a granddaughter, Anabelle.
Dr. Anuta graduated in 1953 from Klondike High School. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University in 1957, a Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut in 1962, a Master of Science Degree in Computer Science from Purdue University in 1967 and a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue in 1985.
He was a second lieutenant in the Signal Corps.
