Dolores J. Beach, age 78 of Levering passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at the Hospice House. She was born August 18, 1931 in Levering to Reuben and Ethel (Snider) Bonnett. On January 23, 1954 at St. Thomas Lutheran Church, Dolores married Rex Beach who survives. Dolores was a Licensed Practical Nurse for a number of years, first at Little Traverse Hospital in Petoskey and then at hospitals in Detroit, Flint and Lapeer. She and Rex moved back to Levering in 1980.
Besides her husband Rex, Dolores is survived by two brothers, Charlie (Ida) Bonnett of Levering and Robert Bonnett of Susanville, CA and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Ellen Bonnett, Ruby Byzcnski and Darlene Witt and two brothers, Andrew Bonnett and Harold Bonnett.
The funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 9, 2009 at the funeral home with the Rev, Harry "Budd" Wagner officiating. Burial took place in Munro Township Cemetery.
