Alfred McQuerry married Bertha Viola McBurney (1885-1955), who was born in Lampasas, Texas, on June 4, 1903, in Zephyr, Brown County, Texas. They were the parents of Burney Alfred McQuerry (1906-2002), Charles William McQuerry (1908-1909), Jack Wendell McQuerry (1910-1992), Mary Ella McQuerry (1913-1950), Betsy Viola McQuerry Erskine (1919- ),and June Marie McQuerry Gallesich, Ph. D. (193-2008).
