Robert August Everett
I originally entered my Uncle Robert into the Riverside National Cemetery, because I thought that is where he was buried. I have been informed today that he is buried in Trinity Memorial Cemetery in Redlands, so I have transferred his memorial to Trinity Memorial Gardens. I see you have added a plaque for Robert and would like to know where this plaque is located. See the following correspondance.

Our genealogy group has recently located a cemetery in Redlands, CA that had not previously been shown on the FindAGrave website.
We have now listed the 142 names of people who have a plaque in their memorial garden.
The first plaque (burial 1978) is for Robert August Edward Everett.
I see that you have created a wonderful memorial for him in Riverside Nat'l.
We would like to add one photo that we have of his plaque that is in Trinity Memorial Garden - Redlands, San Bernardino Co.,CA.
His memorial has four photos of the Riverside Nat'l markers.
Would you be willing to ask "CRob" to remove the photo of the plaque that reads "The markers in this Memorial area-----" so that we can add the photo for his plaque in Trinity Memorial Garden. I can not tell you if all of his ashes are in one location but I can assure you that he has a plaque in Trinity Memorial Garden. If you prefer, you could change his burial location to Trinity but it would delete it Riverside Nat'l. and I know he had military service.

Hi Paul,

Not sure what the correct thing is to do here. I am pretty sure my dad's ashes were scattered in the church rose garden and that the veterans cemetery situation is only a plaque. In a way, the National cemetery at Riverside seems the more official site just by being a government cemetery and also being a resting place for veterans. At the time of my dad's death, he and my mom were attending church at the location where Trinity Memorial was just being established, so he was probably one of the first to have his ashes scattered there. There are probably no ashes at the veterans cemetery.
Not sure what these people are asking, nor am I sure about what to do about this matter. Any advice or thoughts about that????

I guess Joyce and David are headed your way as usual in September. Wish I was coming too. I don't think Maggie is feeling all that great so I never presume to invite myself!!! Yet I miss her and I miss all the rest of you too. This September I am involved in a conference as both a speaker and tour guide, so I guess I wouldn't be able to come anyway. Life seems too darned busy lately and I thought I was retiring!!! Brother Kenny just had a major bicycle wreck, fracturing his pelvis, so he is laid up for a good while. And daughter Clover goes in for hip surgery next week. Maybe we're all just falling apart, eh??!!!

Hope things are going well for you and Marian. Give my best to the whole clan...and let me know what we should do about this query on my dad's graves!

Love,

Barb
