Otho was born in Rutherford Co. Tenn in 1871 and married in Kaufman Co. Tx in 1895. He grew up in Marshall Co. Tn.and his family moved to Texas after the War between th States. He worked as a carpenter for the Texas Midland Railroad. He & wife Ollie had five children, Homer W. wife Nettie,they had two children, Olga DeAlva married Vessie Hardy Sr.they had two children, Vessie died in 1948 & De Alva married Walter Moreland, daughter, Helen Isabell, married John Moreland,brother to Walter, they had one child, a son Roy born 1905 and died at birth, and the youngest was William I., married to Mary Emma Huston, and one child. He died as a young man and never knew any of his grandchildren. Ollie never married again.
