Bonnie Marie Barnard, 89, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2010 at her home in, Marlow, OK.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, September 20, 2010, at the Eastside Baptist Church, with Rev. Toby Walker officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow, OK.

Bonnie was born Thursday, June 23, 1921 in Charlie, TX, to Alvin E. Harris and Latisha (Armes) Harris. Bonnie had lived in Marlow since graduating from Marlow High School in 1938. She married Warren G. Barnard July 2, 1941 in Marlow. He preceded her in death January 8, 2006. Bonnie loved quilting and gardening. She could grow anything that could be planted. Bonnie enjoyed life on the farm and working with all her animals. Early in life Bonnie was a nurses aid at Gregston Nursing Home and Talley-Walker Hospital. She was an expert pie maker. Bonnie loved to chase her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed volunteering her time at Eastside Baptist church where she was a faithful member for more than 20 years. Above all, Bonnie loved to spend time with her family.

Survivors include, daughter, Marla Coleman and husband Randall of Marlow,
granddaughter, Carra Lewis and husband Adam of Ft. Leavenworth, KS,
two grandsons, Ryan Stuart and wife Season of Marlow,
Justin Stuart and wife Rachelle of Ft. Riley, KS,
step-granddaughter, Darcy Cavanaugh,
five great-grandchildren, Isaac, Sydney, and Jordyn Lewis, and Ruger and Chesnie Stuart,
with another great-grandchild on the way,
two brothers, Dean Harris of Lubbock, TX,
Melvin Harris and wife Arnette of Clifton, TX,
two sisters, Trell Taylor and husband Harold of Mineral Wells, TX,
Dorothy Self and husband Max of Dimmitt, TX,
numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Juanita Smiley, three brothers, James Harris, Dalton Harris, Bobby Harris.
