Funeral services for Allen Rusk, 54, former Athens resident who died at his home in Granite, Oklahoma last Thursday, were held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the First Christian Church in Granite.
Interment was in the Granite cemetery.
Mr. Rusk, born at Canton, was engaged in farming before leaving Athens about fourteen years ago for Granite. He was married in Oklahoma to Miss Alma Buford, also of Athens.
Surviving are his wife, four daughters, Mrs. Levis Cothrum and Misses Lucille, Ina Mae and Billie Jo Rusk, all of Granite; two sons, Vestil Rusk of Granite and Houston Rusk, in foreign service with the U.S. Army; two brothers, Henry Rusk of Athens and Porter Rusk of Mangum, Oklahoma; and five sisters, Mrs. Rutherford Powdrill of Center, Mrs. Leta Nall of San Angelo, Mrs. Ben Buford of California, Mrs. Susie Gentry and Mrs. Dan Swofford of Dallas
