She passed away Monday, Oct. 25, 2010 in Athens.
Billie Jo was born April 9, 1934 in Granite, Okla. to Allen and Alma Bufford Rusk. She married her husband, Wayne White, on July, 5, 1955, in Dallas. They moved from Garland to Athens in 1982, where she began her 16 years of service with First Bank of Athens. She was a member of Dogwood Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Tom Rusk and Pete Rusk; and sisters, Lucille Rusk, Ina McCallaum and Louise Cothrum.
Billie Jo is survived by husband, Wayne White of Athens; sons, Wayne White Jr. of Dallas, and Morris and daughter in law Kelly White of Athens; grandchildren Ashley White, Danielle Meaux, and Lisa White; great-grandchildren Kaleb Brindley, Ayden Meaux, Madison Meux, and Kylin Meaux.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hannigan Smith Funeral Home of Athens.
