Rachel Pruitt Inman, age 76 of Wilmington passed away on Monday, January 05, 2009 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Brunswick County, NC on December 6, 1932 to O.D. Pruitt and Caroline Evans Pruitt.
Rachel was a member of College Acres Baptist Church and former president of ABWA in Wilmington.
Rachel is survived by her husband of 57 years, Lloyd Inman. Sister, Willa Pruitt Ward, brother, Kermit Pruitt and wife Violet, and Leer Pruitt Wigner. Sister in law, Juanite Beltz and brother in law Buddy Smith. Preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Carl Pruitt and a sister Sally Pruitt Smith.
Many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Wednesday at College Acres Baptist Church. Interment will be in Oakdale Cemetery.
