---Clarence Roberts, 75, LaPlata, MO, brother of B. A. Roberts, died Dec 6 at Spokane, WA.
---He had surgery two years ago and had never completely recovered. His death was caused by cancer of the lung. He was spending the winter in Washington and California with his children.
---Mr. Roberts was a former resident of Hazelton, went to school there and played on the basketball team in 1916 and 1917.
---He is survived by his wife, Gladys; three sons, Junior of Mokelumme Hill, CA, Steven of Spokane and David of California.
