He was born April 28, 1918, in Carroll County to Thomas and Mozelle Frazier Alley.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Alley.
Survivors include a step-daughter and her husband, Betty and Bob Norman of Woodstock; step-grandson; brother, Sanford Alley of Carroll County; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held today, Monday, at 2 p.m. in the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jay Fields officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 1 p.m. until service time.
