OREM-Katherine Capin Christofferson, 59, 335 E. 400 N. Orem, died Monday at the
Utah Valley Hospital of natural causes. She was born Sept. 8, 1909, in Albion, Pa., a daugher of Eugene and Marie Capin. She married Sherrill D. Christofferson on Nov. 19, 1952 in Provo. He died June 15, 1969. Mrs. Christofferson received her early education in Chicago, moving to Pocatello, Ida., where she graduated from high school. She later received a degree in music at the idaho State University. In 1930 she moved to Salt Lake City, where she became employed with the Utah Oil Refining Company as office personnel manager for 13 years. In 1943 she moved to Orem, where she had resided until her death.

Surviving are a sister-in-law Lila E. Hickman, Las Vegas, Nev., and four aunts, Mrs. Christine Zajic, Vesta, Minn.; Mrs. Rose Prazis, Chicago; Mrs. Agnes Blair, Bradley, Ill., and Mrs. Barbara Jutzi, Kankakee, Ill. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Berg Drawing Room Chapel in Orem, 500 N. State, Orem, where friends may call tonight from to 8 o'clock and Thursday prior to the services. Burial will be in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park in Salt Lake City.
