Mrs. Daisy Lena Breeden died Thursday (April 21, 1960) after a long illness. She had made her home with her son-in-law and daughter, Mrs. Walter Campbell, 2712 Blair St.

A native of Augusta County, she was born Nov. 6, 1879, a daughter of the late Columbus and Margaret May Hoover. She was a member of the Middle River Church of the Brethren near New Hope.

Surviving are four sons, Herring T. Breeden, Route 2, Staunton, John H. Breeden, New Hope, J. C. Breeden, Route 3. Staunton and Howard W. Breeden, Grottoes; three daughters, Mrs. Beulah Kirby, Hedgesville, W. Va., Mrs. Walter Campbell, Staunton and Mrs. Thedore Raupp, Wexford, Pa.; one sister, Mrs. Lottie Sprouse, Fordwick; also 13 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted Sunday afternoon at five o'clock in the Middle River Church of the Brethren. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Marvin Clingenpeel and the Rev. R. C. Hipes. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Ralph Aldhizer, Leonard Early, Troy Harman, Hunter Black, Willie Kerr and William Sites.

Honorary pallbearers will be Hallie Shaver, Oscar Harris, William Baber, Aubrey Carr, Roy Paxton and N. E. Paxton.

The body will remain at the Fred Henry Funeral Home until 3:15 o'clock Sunday afternoon and then will be placed in the church.
