HERRING T. BREEDEN
Herring Thomas Breeden, 71, formerly of Rt. 2, Fishersville, died Friday night (Jan. 27, 1978) at a local hospital.
He was born April 4, 1906 at New Hope, son of Thomas and Daisy Lena (Hoover) Breeden. He was a farmer and a member of Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Juanita Agnes Breeden; two daughters, Mrs. Betty G. Wiseman of Staunton and Mrs. Shirley Jean Irwin of Barboursville, W. Va.; a son, Kenneth Breeden of Staunton; three brothers, John of New Hope, James of Rt. 3, Staunton, and Howard Breeden of Alexandria; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Campbell of Staunton and Mrs. Hallie Raupp of Pennsylvania and six grandchildren.
Services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday at Hamrick Funeral Home by the Rev. John B. Stanley. Burial will be in Middle River Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Everett P. Campbell, Paul Davis, Lee Roy and David Grant, Glenn Almarode and Robert Simmons.
The family will be at the residence of Mrs. Betty G. Wiseman, 1605 W. Beverley St., and will receive friends at the funeral home from 3-4 p.m. this afternoon.
