Cathedral for Joseph C. McNally,

55, of 749 Bryden-rd, who died

of a heart attack Monday night

in his home.

1920. He reorganized the Grand-

view Lumber Co. in 1920.


He was in the first graduating

class of Aquinas College in 1907.


A native of Somerset, he was

The grandson of an Irish immi-

grant who was one of the original

settlers in that community. He

came to Columbus in 1904 and

attended East High School one

year.


He was a member of the Build-

ers Exchange, the Lumber Club

and the Knights of Columbus,

Council 400.


Surviving are his wife, Mrs.

Margaret McNally; four sons, Lt.

Robert A., stationed in England

with the Army; Ensign James Ed-

win, in the Navy, stationed in

Corpus Christi, Tex.; Norbert A.,

with the Navy in the South Pa-

cific area, and Joseph C. McNally

Jr., Columbus; five daughters,

Mrs. John M. Hollaway [ed. Holloway], Whittier,

Cal.; Mrs. Ray Leedy, Columbus;

Mrs. Thomas J. Spangler, Dothen,

Ala., and the Misses Patricia and

Frances McNally, at home; three

sisters, Mrs. Charles Clouse, Co-

lumbus; Mrs. Urban Fink, Co-

lumbus, and Miss Anna McNally,

Somerset, and a brother, William

J. McNally, Columbus.


Friends may call at the resi-

dence after 5 p.m. today. Burial

will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery

by Egan-Ryan.
