Obituary:
Miss Wilma Chapin Succumbs to Pneumonia At Home North of City
Friends in this city and vicinity will be saddened to read of the passing away of Miss. Wilma Chapin, at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Ray Chapin, north of this city, on Wednesday evening from the effects of pneumonia following influenza. Miss. Chapin was 21 years of age and was a graduate of the Union City High School where she was a prime favorite with her classmates and was loved and respected by all who knew her and her untimely death will cast a gloom over the entire community. The sympathy of all will be extended to this bereaved family who with the mother and two other daughters are critically ill with the same disease and the fact that another daughter Miss. Ethelyn Chapin passed away Dec 9th, will make the double bereavement hard to bear. Funeral services will be held from the Baptist Church Friday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment will be made in Evergreen cemetery.
