Jesse Francis, 72, of Fredericktown died Wednesday, June 1, 1988 at the Veterans Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
He was a retired mechanic.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 4 at the Wilson Funeral Home with the Rev. Kevin Francis officiating.
Burial was in Marcus Memorial Park.
Mr. Francis was born January 22, 1916 in Madison County to the late Ed and Safrona (Pippin) Francis.
He married Helen Parson, she survives.
Other survivors include two sons, both of Fredericktown; three daughters, three brothers, one sister, Fort Wayne, IN; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild,
Preceding Mr. Francis in death were his parents, a son Lindell; three brothers, Everett, Earl, and Leo Francis, and two sisters, May Hart and Myrtle Francis.
Mr. Francis was a member of the Baptist Church.
