Died at 5:30 Friday at the Capital Nursing Home, where she was a resident. Native of St. Helena Parish she was 99 years old. Body at Rabenhorst Funeral Chapel at 2:30 pm. Sunday with the Rev. H. A. Merritt officiating. Entombment in Greenlawn Mausoleum. Survivors include one son, Otto J. Covington of Baton Rouge; two stepsons, Charles G. Covington of Memphis, Tenn., and Grady W. Covington of Freeport, Ill.; two step daughters, Mrs. Neva Strickland of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Anna Mae Drummond of Jackson, Miss.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of Victoria Baptist Church.
