Amy R. Martin, 79, of Waverly died Saturday, April 24, 2010, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 26, 2010, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation was held from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Waverly Cemetery. Memorials may be made to family choice.

Born Feb. 6, 1931, in Slater, she was the daughter of the late Santa Clause and Minnie Mable Hill Clause. On Aug. 6, 1945, in Leavenworth, Kan., she married Lonnie Martin, who preceded her in death May 15, 1991. She had lived in the Waverly area most of her life and was a member of Church of Christ in Blue Lick. She was a certified nurses' aide at Riverview Heights Nursing Home where she was employee of the year for two years.

Survivors include three children, Lonnie E. Martin of Carrollton, Donna Garrison of Waverly and Nancy Kay Shaw of Pilot Grove; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one sister, Edna Vollrath of Creve Coeur, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, James Russell Martin; two sisters; and five brothers.
