Edna Mae Vollrath, 87, of Peoria, passed away Monday, August 2, 2021 at Grand View Alzheimer's Special Care Center in Peoria.

Born October 7, 1933 in Slater, Missouri to Santa and Minnie Mabel (Hill) Clause, she married Raymond Vollrath on September 3, 1950 in Marshall, Missouri. He died October 11, 2014.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Raymond, Bill, Joe, Jim, Fred Clause and two sisters, Amy Martin and Daisy Clause.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews, including special niece Janet (Tom) Brill.

Edna had worked at Biehl's Cleaners and Ideal Troy Cleaners for many years, before her retirement.

She enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzle and volunteering at the Blind Center in Peoria. She loved her cats and being a housewife and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her niece, Janet.

Edna was a member of Creve Coeur Southern Baptist Church.

Her graveside service will be at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.
