Old Macon County Woman Passes Away. Mrs. Mary Elizabeth (Ingels) Pritchett died about 6 o'clock, Sunday Morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lydia Mary (Pritchett) Richardson, 371 West North Street. She had been in failing health since the death of her husband, Thomas Alexander Pritchett, July 13, 1903. She had been confined to her bed for the past several weeks.

Mrs. Pritchett was over 76 years old. She was born in Bourbon County, Kentucky, April 16, 1830. She was married to Thomas A. Pritchett in Paris, Bourbon County, Kentucky, June 17, 1851. In 1856 the couple came to Illinois and purchased from the government a section of land just north of Niantic. They celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on June 17, 1901.

Mrs. Pritchett is survived by one brother, N.H. Ingels of Chatham, Illinois and two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Pritchett of Niantic and Mrs. J.W. Constant of Illiopolis and Mrs. Frank R. Bean of Bloomington and one son, J.H. Pritchett of Decatur.

The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Central Church of Christ. Rev. F.W. Burnham, the pastor will officiate. The internment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery. Obituary published in the Decatur Review, November 12, 1906.
