Mr. Benjamin Asa King Dead

On Saturday, October the 13th, 1917, the death angel visited the home of this family and bore away the spirit of the husband and father, Benjamin Asa King. He was in his field at work when taken sick and only lived one hour after reaching his home.

Death, under such circumstances is hard, but we are sure that our loss is heaven's gain. He is not dead, but sleeping sweetly in the arms of our blessed Lord.

Bro. King leaves a wife, several children and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his loss. He was laid to rest at Holly Springs, Brother Lovern conducting the service. He had been a member of the Baptist church nine years. The Lord gave and the Lord hath taken, but he knows best. Ava B. W.
