Lyndoll Myspha Galbreath was born March 9, 1911 in Milam County, Texas, the second of four children born to General Jackson "Jack" Galbreath and Margaret Elizabeth Evans. She was the granddaughter of William King Galbreath and Nancy "Nannie" Mercia Rolston. Her father was previously married, and from that union, Lyndoll had a half-sister. Lyndoll's mother died in May of 1917. Her father remarried, and from that union, Lyndoll had three half-sisters and one half-brother.
Sometime after the 1930 census, Lyndoll married William H. Roberts. One child is known to have been born to their union: Delores Sue Roberts, May 8, 1934 in
Austin, Travis County, Texas. The couple is assumed to have divorce, and Lyndoll gave her daughter Delores to her father and stepmother to raise.
By 1940, Lyndoll had married Tillman Thornton Dittrich. He was divorced. The couple was enumerated in the 1940 census of San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas. After the war, two children are known to have been born to their union:

Dale Tillman Dittrich, August 16, 1948
Her husband preceded her in death in August of 1963.
