BAXTER Funeral services for Clara Montgomery, 81, will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20, in the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home, with Bro. Henry Roberson and Bro. Owen Reed officiating and burial following in the Cookeville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Montgomery, the wife of the late Everett Montgomery, was declared dead on arrival Sunday, May 17, at Cookeville General Hospital.
She was a homemaker, a native of Putnam County, and the daughter of the late Elijah Bean and Retta Jacquess Bean.
Survivors include a son, Dallas Lee Montgomery of Baxter; a brother, Bruce Bean of Michigan; four sisters, Ruby Burris of Cookeville, Odel Nesbitt of Florida, Audrey Roelling of Florida, and Lojis Taylor of Arizona; two grandchildren, Nicole Huddleston and Ronnie Montgomery; and two greatgrandchildren, Chris Huddleston and Scott Huddleston.
