He was born on September 17, 1923 in Cookville, Tennesee. Bruce served his country in the US Army and was a POW during WWII.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred “Midge” Bean of Frisco; sons, Steven Bean and wife, Pat of Milford, Michigan, Ron Bean and wife, Kathy of Frisco, Texas, Brent Bean of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; grandchildren, Jillian Bean and Chris Bean; sisters, Audrey Ashby, O’Dell Nesbitt and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 1, 2007 from 6:30-8:30 PM at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
